Trallwm Community Hall

Hall information

Address: Trallwm Community Hall, Amanwy, Trallwm, Llanelli, SA14 9AH.

Hire cost of main hall: £15 per hour.

Trallwm Hall will be available for Birthday parties from 1 September 2024.  Party Hire rates will be as follows:

  • There is a minimum 3 hour booking for any party at a set cost of £60, extra hours charged at £15 per hour, deposit £30 on booking.  To book a party ring us on 07533056262 or call in to the hall on Mondays, Tuesdays or Friday mornings between 10am – 12noon.
  • The booking times will include setting up and closing down/cleaning up time.
  • A £30 non refundable deposit will be needed when booking.  Payment in full will be required on the day of the party.
  • To book a party please call to the Hall on Monday, Tuesday or Friday from 10am – 12noon.

The hall is also a safe space for residents and a Keep Wales Tidy Litter Pick Hub.

Photocopying for a small charge is available at the Hall on Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings between 10am-12noon.

Monday: 10am-12noon – Crafty Seniors.  Knitting and crochet group, come along and learn a new skill whilst enjoying a cuppa and a chat with this friendly group.

Tuesday: 10am-12noon – Tuesday morning Social Group, a warm safe space for all to enjoy, make new friends and meet up with old friends, the group is open to everyone.  Free Internet access is available.  Come along and have a cuppa and a chat, play some good old fashioned board games, help is available with any internet queries you have or help you may need and our cafe will be open for refreshments.

Thursday: 10am-1.30pm – Sewing class for beginners and experienced sewers, fully qualified sewing teacher, £5.00 per session.

Thursday: 6pm-8pm – Dyfed Powys Police Cadets, for more information on how to join please contact Dyfed Powys Police directly at www.dyfed-powys.police.uk where you will find further details.  Cadets is open to young people aged 14 years and over, application forms can be found on the above website.

Friday: 10am-12noon – Friendship Friday social group.  A warm space to meet up with friends, have a cuppa and a chat, socialise and play some good old fashioned board games, have a go at acrylic painting or oil painting, craft and create.  Free internet access available for all.

Friday: 4pm-6pm – Llanelli After School Time (4.00 – 6.00pm).  Open to children aged 8 and over.  A place where children and teens can meet with friends, find new friends, have a fun time, play board games, draw and read books etc.  For more details place contact the organiser Katarzyna at [email protected]

Other information:

The CAFÉ Group at Trallwm Hall is a newly formed group that will provide Community Activities and Family Events at the Hall, this will include family day trips, Family prize bingo nights, Family Quiz nights, craft fayres, boot sales, children’s discos, and many more events are planned as  suggested by the Community. Everyone is welcome to attend any of these events.

The Group has recently been awarded a National Lottery Community Fund grant.  This money will allow them to provide even more events and activities for the local community.  Please like and follow their Facebook page for more details.
