The Council has teamed up with Keep Wales Tidy and Caru Cymru to provide litter-picking equipment to interested individuals, groups, schools and businesses. The equipment includes litter pickers, hoops, hi-vis vests and bin bags. The kit also contains all necessary health and safety guidance. Before loaning any equipment, you must complete a Litter Picking Loan Agreement and a Risk Assessment provided.
It is the borrower’s responsibility to return the loaned items by date agreed, in their original condition. Any breakages or losses may need to be paid for and borrowers are expected to notify the lender of any theft, loss or damage as soon as possible to reduce the risk of disruption to other borrowers.
The equipment is loaned free of charge and is funded by the Welsh Government. Equipment is available from Llanelli Rural Council, Vauxhall Buildings, Vauxhall, Llanelli, SA15 3BD.
If you are interested in loaning the equipment please download and return the Equipment Loan Form below by hand to the Council’s Vauxhall office or by email to [email protected]
Sometimes the kit you require will not be available as it will already be booked out. However there are other litter pick hubs close by that can help. To find out where they are, use the interactive map out on the Keep Wales Tidy website at https://keepwalestidy.cymru/caru-cymru/litter-picking-hubs/
